The 40 minute scenic cruise is ideal for younger children where they can spot the local wildlife and experience the thrill of being on a narrowboat. On the 90 minute cruise the children gain an insight into why the locks were built and how they operate and can help open the lock if they want to.

These trips are a great way of learning new information in a relaxed environment away from the classroom. Worksheets are available for both cruises which can be downloaded on booking. These worksheets can either be used during the trip or back in the classroom to reinforce what has been learnt. Dressing up is also encouraged.
